SH model pneumatic clutch/brake is the representative product of HAWERS. It can be used as a clutch or brake as needed. After inputting air pressure to the element tube, friction linings and drum connected tightly. In this time, drum rotated with power shaft, SH-6R used as clutch; if drum fixed and not rotated with power shaft, SH-6R used as a brake. 

SH penumatic clutch/brake is widely used in shearing, press, forming, tester, generator, pump, winch and other industriesd. And SH-6R is special design & made for rubber tire for the car guide to open, it is extensive applied in rubber tire machines.

SH series pneumatic rubber tube clutch brake is driven by air pressure. It assemble and maintenance is easy and simple, without spline or other complex electrical connect, so as to eliminate many mechanical trouble, and reduce equipment maintenance cost to lowest. 

This SH-6R tire clutch brake is a complete structure, only input air pressure for working is ok. It doesn't need to supplying air pressure again during working. For maintenance, it is no necessarry to disassemble driving shaft and driven shaft, just take out the clutch brake element and drum via adjust screw. It is convenient for assemble and maintenance.

Following is the assembly of SH series inside expanding pneumatic actuated clutch. When it used as a clutch, usually will equiped with a rotating joint to input air pressure. After connecting, clutch element will rotating with driving shaft together, so as to transmit torque from driving shaft to driven shaft.
